Location – Austin, TX.

Job Description

 

Senior SAP Development Consultant – ABAP 

·         More than 8 years of hands-on development experience with SAP ABAP development, especially in the areas of master data management, Sales Document Processing, Pricing Determination and Configuration, Financial Accounting

 ·         Experience with the mySAP SCM module is preferred

·         Completed at least 3 full lifecycles of large-scale SAP Retail implementations, and have an in-depth understanding of SAP implementation and extension, as well as integration with external systems

 ·         Experience in International retail implementation is a major plus.

 ·         Proven ability to translate business requirements into work items including design artifacts and code construction.

 ·         Excellent understanding of FI/SD integration in order-to-cash processes, revenue recognition and account determination, billing, payment processing, financial accounting, etc.

 ·         Good understanding of FI/MM integration in the area of inventory management and account determination

 ·         Good understanding of EDI/IDocs, process codes, partner profiles, etc

 ·         Well experienced in building and defining interfaces with outside systems.

 ·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to multi-task, are essential.

 ·         Excellent communication, negotiation, inter-personal and organizational skills are essential.

 ·         Capable of understanding complex business processes and requirements and transforming them into simple solutions in SAP

 ·         Capable of working directly with technical teams such as SAP functional experts and HP application developers

 ·         Good retail industry knowledge and/or eCommerce experience will be an advantage.

 ·         Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

 ·         Bachelor of Science degree in related fields plus 8-10 years of related experience, or advanced degree plus 5-7 years of related experience is preferred; or equivalent.
