QUESTION: What is the ideal candidate? 

ANSWER:

-          5 years of ASP.NET development, C# programming, 3 tier architecture development expert. 

-          Must be a stand alone type consultant, no supervision, gets the job done..

-          so a DEEP understanding of development is crucial

 

To work on various Dot Net Projects based on user requirements and design documents under the direction of a Project Manager.

·         Should have a good understanding on Software development Life cycle process.

·         Experience with Visual Studio 2005\2008 is required.

·         C# development (5+ years)

·         ASP.NET web applications development (5+ years)

·         ASP.NET web services development (5+ years)

·         AJAX development

·         jQuery experience a plus

·         SQL Server 2005/2008 development

·         Ability to write queries and stored procedures

·         Devexpress Controls is a plus

·         Experience using and developing custom web part.

·         Experience SQL Server and Oracle connectivity

·         Troubleshoot and resolve issues.

·         Independently troubleshoot and research challenging problems

·         Work with end users and manage requirements

Experience in writing reports or integrating 3^rd party reporting tools like crystal reports

·         Data optimization and customizing

Skill Requirements

·         Proficient in Microsoft Dot Net methodologies and Standards.

·         Proficient in Web Parts, InfoPath Forms and other SharePoint customizations

·         Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on tasks

·         Proficient with Windows Server 2003\2008
