Job Description:
ETL Developer for tasks related to the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
1. Leading the ETL team in the development and monitoring of ETL processes and test plans using Informatica Power Center and Informatica Data Quality.
2. Leading the ETL team in shaping, enhancing and recommending best practices to the overall ETL/Informatica architecture
3. Investigating and resolving difficult design and build issues, data loading and data integrity issues.
4. Writing SQL for queying the Informatica Metadata Repository for validating unit and QA testing, monitoring, and for investigating integrity issues.
5. Performance tuning Informatica workflows.
6. Using Informatica to develop ETL mappings and workflows including the use of mapplets, reusable transformations and worklets.
7. Working with large and complex Oracle data warehouses, data marts and OLTP databases.
8. Writing UNIX shell scripts to validate and ftp files and to call workflows.

Mandatory Requirement:
1.Experience in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications and products that run on those platforms, beyond that of a Programmer
2.Candidates should have at least 84 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:
3.Demonstrated experience using Informatica 7.x and 8.x or higher in a data warehouse environment including familiarity with warehousing concepts, design and development of complex mappings, experience merging data from multiple source systems including but not limited to ORACLE, COBOL (VSAM) files, XML, and flat files.
4.Demonstrated Experience writing complex SQL, PL/SQL (stored procedures/functions) with Oracle 8g, 9i, 10g or higher.
5.Demonstrated Experience leading the ETL team in shaping and enhancing the overall ETL architecture using Informatica.
6.Demonstrated Experience specifying and conducting system testing (e.g. unit, integration, regression, load, performance) and user acceptance testing.
7.Demonstrated Experience writing complex UNIX scripts to validate and ftp files, and for calling Informatica workflows.
8.Demonstrated Experience in performance tuning on Informatica sessions by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks
9.Demonstrated experience with Informatica Data Quality or Data Explorer processes, approaches, measurement techniques and business cases for data profiling, data cleansing, standardization, match and merge with IDQ 7.x and 8.x or higher or Data Explorer
10.Demonstrated Experience in Dimensional Data Modeling for creating logical and physical data models using a commercial data modeling tool like ERWIN or ERStudio.
11.Experience working with data contained in Patient Medical Records, Employee Records and Healthcare Provider Records in a State Agency, Federal Agency or Private Organization.
