Java Developer – Boston, MA

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for development of features on multiple projects.
• Creation and documentation of technical designs for designated features and activities.
• Responsible for complete unit and integration testing of deliverables.
• Participate in creation/documentation of performance test cases.
• Help with the creation and documentation of QA test plan/cases.
• Delivery high quality applications in a timely manner.
• Provide support and maintenance of existing applications.
• Support of production systems.
• Candidate must be a positive contributor to team environment and communicate with both team members and leadership.

Qualifications:

 

5-10 years experience in Java/J2EE application development. 5 years experience in data access technologies including SQL and stored procedures. Experience in application security and authentication. Experience with Windows environments including integration with various back-end systems (SQL databases, LDAP, Active Directory). Experience in cross platform application migrations. Experience with Web Services - SOAP, UDDI, WSDL. AJAX and jQuery experience required. Familiarity with 2 major software development methodologies (Waterfall, RUP, Scrum, XP, etc). Experience within and Agile environment.
