Position               :               WebSphere MQ Admin

Location               :               Jersey City, NJ

Duration              :               5+ Months

 

Requirements :

 

Must-haves

 

- 5-7 yrs of experience working as an MQ Administrator (not a developer)

- Expertise in MQ Broker administration
- Strong knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ: able to design, implement, monitor and support the company's messaging transport layer across AIX platform
- Written and verbal communications skills
- Able to document architecture and components

 

Plusses

 

- Highly preferred plus: MQ certified
- Experience with other MQ products: BMC Que Pasa!, AMS or other relevant products and applications

 

Day-to-Day

 

WebSphere MQ Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of the BTMU messaging transport layer across multiple platforms (Windows, AIX, Mainframe and Tandem). You will also be responsible for the installation of the middleware infrastructure, which consists of IBM WebSphere MQ, MQ Broker, BMC Que Pasa!, AMS and other relevant products and applications. Will support application developers and MQ Broker team.
