Client is looking test engineer not a test analyst. someone who can work with continuous build and test progress. Must need to be able to step through the code and have that kind of background. will use nunit. they follow agile and scrum not interested in seeing folks with just waterfall methodology wil be working with the developers team. this person will also be managing the release process.  right now screeens are in winforms and may move to WPF. WCF is the middle and SQL Server is backend all microsoft. Person has to sit in Chicago! Will consider someone with something similar to cruisecontrol and teamcity..this is for the release piece.

Description:	The Fixed Income IT team within UBS Global AM is looking for a Test Engineer/Release Manager with 7 - 10 years of experience who is committed to building world class software for the Global Fixed Income team. Candidate Profile/ Responsibilities: • Proven software testing background with experience in leading system testing while interacting with relevant stakeholders and project team members to collect test requirements, identify risks and determine testing scope • Lead the team in planning and completing testing iterations and communication of test results to the project team • Regression testing leadership and management - identify and execute, in consultation with the development team, the appropriate regression test cases. Build and enhance the regression test repository with each release while ensuring all projects complete Regression Testing in Pre-Production, as applicable, before deploying to Production. • Development and maintenance of test plans and supporting documentation ensuring all project technical requirements are suitably tested. • Experience pairing with developers to ensure high quality code is written using test-driven development (TDD) practices • Production issues analysis and drive improvements • Monitor and track team performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in test rigor and quality • Liaise with Production Services and Application support for quick issue resolution, as may be required • Monitor and track team performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in migrations and release management and ensure rigor and quality • Oversee periodic refreshes of the Pre-Production environmenst, ensure code sync between Pre-Production and Production, and manage Migration team activities for the execution of job chains in the Pre-Production environment related to Regression Testing Minimum Qualifications: • Overall 5+ years of testing experience with Enterprise grade applications • Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM, XP, Kanban) environment/team focusing on sprint by sprint deliveries • Test Driven Development (TDD) using NUnit or equivalent • SQL – 5+ years minimum • Experience with Continuous Integration/Build Management tools (CrusieControl, TeamCity) • Experience with testing of .NET applications • Note: Would consider a candidate with commensurate Java experience who is looking to switch to developing on the .NET platform   Preference given to candidates with the following experience: • Load/Performance testing experience • SCRUM Master certification • Experience with Fixed Income applications and/or trade order management systems being highly desirable Education: A four year Bachelor's Degree or the international equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience.
