ISP Technical Infrastructure (BASIS)

Our client is looking for a consultant for an ISP Technical Infrastructure (Basis) role. Requirements are below:
Required experiences

• SAP R3 BASIS.
• Performance Monitoring and Tuning including SQL.

Additional desirable experiences

• ABAP (very big plus).
• ALE/RFC (very big plus).
• IDOCs (very big plus).
• APO.
• SRM.
• CRM.

Description of the role

• The analyst holding this role will be part of a global team, supporting the ISP system landscape including peripheral systems based on the Tetra Pak setup.
• One of the most important tasks and where experience will be of vital importance is to be able to do pro-active monitoring and tuning to improve performance.
• This includes DB tuning from table indexing point of view as well as table buffering strategies and SAP buffer setup.  Also ability to analyze ABAP programs' SQL statements and program structure will be very useful.
• Work with HP to improve the system.
• Solve tickets from end users and other stake holders in various technical areas.

Areas of vital importance

• SQL tracing (ST05).
• Cursor cache analysis (ST04).
• Runtime analysis (SE30).
• Table buffer analysis (ST10).
• SAP buffer analysis (ST02).
• Performance data base (ST03).
