Python Developer,
Foster City, CA (Telecommuting option, must sit onsite at least 2 days/week) Remote work Option
5+ months contract with great possibility of Extension
Client: VISA
Rate: 50/hr on c2c
NOTE: Just a python developer who is having recent experience is fine. 5-6 years exp is fine
Require Python developer to work for both front end and back end development
Education/Experience
o Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required
o 5-7 years related experience required
Responsibility level
o Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor
Skills
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
o Knowledge of computer hardware and software (Required)
o Knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in production of drawings and models (Required)
o Knowledge of Python under both Linux, OS10 and Windows environments,
o Knowledge of Tkinter.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems
o Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems
o Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
o Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
