Job Title: PeopleSoft HCM Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 - 12 Months Contract
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Senior Functional resource with extensive experience and working product knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules to work on a PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade as well as some production support projects.
The consultant should possess in depth v9.1 PeopleSoft HCM knowledge and experience with at least 1-2 of the following required: HR, Time and Labor, Payroll, and eBenefits.
Experience with Configuration and setup required. Serve as a functional consultant to lead and facilitate fit-gap sessions, document user requirements and streamline processes.
Communicate effectively with business users, provide recommendations and consulting as needed.
Create and execute detailed System Test Plan and Parallel Testing plan.
Oversee, coordinate and assist with all aspects of user acceptance testing.
Prepare training materials as needed for business SME's.
Reviews and analyzes operations procedures, processes, and problems to identify areas for improved workflow and reduction of customizations.
Experience Required:
Functional and product expert with at least 7-10 years PeopleSoft experience in HCM applications including HR, Payroll, Ben Admin, and Time & Labor.
Experience working in an HRIS environment.
Experience working on previous PeopleSoft upgrade is highly preferred.
Strong oral and written communications skills are required.
Ability to document complex functional requirements for end users and technical use
Ability to work individually under conditions of varying uncertainty as well as part of a team environment with other functional team members is required.
Ability to work well with business subject matter experts and technical resources to deliver work on time according to project schedule.
In depth knowledge of day to day operations in an HRIS environment.
In depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules. Expertise in Time and Labor, Payroll, and ebenefits a major plus.
Knowledge of system capabilities, usually acquired through formal training or experience, is required to assess automation possibilities.
Advanced analytical skills are required to evaluate effectiveness of processes.
Project Management skills are required
Negotiation and persuasion skills are required to work with partners and implement changes.
Organizational skills are required to develop and monitor project plans as well as organize time/juggle competing priorities effectively Ability to work under tight deadlines, handling multiple assignments simultaneously is essential.
