Must-haves
2 yrs Admin experience
5 yrs Development experience
Quires Studio, PowerPlay Studio, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Content Studio
Strong experience with Cognos OLAP sizing, and troubleshooting
Experience in ITIL, SDLC, and change management process
Cognos transformer cubes, reports, and packages
Cognos 10 or 10.1

 

Plusses
Design experience
Windows Batch and VB Scripting

 

Role
We need a strong Cognos Administrator to support 3 different BI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have started off in a development role, and advanced into administration. They must have strong communications skills, and a firm grasp of Cognos. Their day to day activities are:

 

Work with project teams to make sure deliverables are met according to the project plan.
Work with various team on the back end (Storage, Network, Citrix, Windows) to keep the new platforms up and running.
Work with vendor (IBM) for escalation issues
