Job Description
· The Web/Email Developer primarily supports the development and implementation of email and web programs – acting as a technical expert, including but not limited to: analysis, documentation, development, testing, training and support.
o Responsible for learning and understanding the email system capabilities and limitations. Providing development expertise, e.g., Coding of emails using HTML and proprietary scripting language, troubleshooting technical issues, building SQL queries to manipulate data inputs, and assisting the deployment team.
o Work closely with Project Management in build, edit and test a variety of projects using HTML, JavaScript, Content Management, and other proprietary systems and services.
o Working from a workflow tool to prioritize projects and tasks
o Provide guidance and assistance for other team members
· Seek opportunities to improve email development process & support model, drive efficiencies and faster time to market. Build tools that streamline current workflow.
· Continually self-educate on new technologies with an eye on opportunities to implement them in house.
· Hands-on development experience with front-end or back-end technologies, minimum 5 years of professional experience
· HTML, CSS and JavaScript, minimum 5 years of professional experience. Able to write and troubleshoot HTML code without the assistance of a WYSIWYG editor
· Experience working JavaScript libraries such as JQuery
· Experience writing complex SQL queries
