design and develop custom web-based user interfaces integrating RESTful APIs to provide the user interface of an open platform for patient engagement in clinical research for a leading pharmaceutical company. The responsibilities include: participating on the design of user interfaces and information architecture for several applications, participating in the design of resource-oriented RESTful APIs, implementing web-based user interfaces, and implementing reusable UI components to be used across applications.

 

Knowledge & Skill – (minimum proficiencies)

• Strong overall programming experience building wed-based and large scale systems required;
• Strong technical programming skills in: 
• JavaScript
• HTML5 & CSS
• JSON
• RESTful APIs and HTTP

 

Knowledge & Skill - (preferred)

• Responsive design experience
• Test-driven development with client-side JavaScript
• Experience with Git, Github, and Amazon Web Services
• Experience with Angular.js and Karma
• Experience building API clients and API based applications
