Position Description
· Looking for a data quality analyst/developer with a minimum of 5-7 years working in the financial IT community. Candidate should possess a strong understanding of database concepts including data warehouse, operational data stores, data marts.
· Candidate must have in-depth hands-on experience in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Quality Rules Development, Testing, Sybase and Teradata SQL, Database Packages. Candidate must have in-depth hands-on experience in DQ Rules Development, Unstructured Data Analysis, Custom Profiling, Reusable Transformations, ETL Transformations, Creating ETL Workflows, Performance Tuning using Informatica Data Quality primarily.
· Candidate need to have in-depth knowledge of ETL concepts and should have hands-on experience in implementing data integrations in Sybase, Oracle, and/or Teradata using custom development, PERL/Unix Shell Scripts, or an ETL tool such as Informatica. Candidate must have strong SQL skills and should have experience developing custom SQL Scripts to identify data quality gaps for data in Sybase/Oracle/Teradata and Emails.
· The candidate must have strong communication skills and be able work with both users and IT team members in a highly collaborative team environment. Candidate should be disciplined, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and delivery-focused.
Skills Required
? In-depth knowledge of database concepts.
? Hands-on experience in Data analysis, Data Profiling and ETL Mapping Development experience.
? In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality 9.5.1 or earlier version, ETL development in Informatica Power Center.
? In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of RDBMS systems, specifically Sybase, Teradata, and/or Oracle.
? In-depth knowledge in Defect Life cycle, Data quality Incident Tracking, Stewardship tasks.
? Strong SQL skills and database programming skills including creating views, stored procedures and triggers, and implementing referential integrity, designing and coding for performance.
? Hands-on experience Unix/Linux programming (shell and Perl).
? Strong Communication skills, analytical skills.
? Experience writing/supporting analytical reporting using Business Objects or similar tool.
Skills Desired
? Experience in the Financial Industry, Retail Mortgages.
? One or more Informatica, Business Objects, Teradata, or Oracle development.
? One or more Informatica Meta Data or any Metadata Repository tool
