Position: 20052 - Database Analyst III - Commissions Functional Analyst
Location: Bellevue, WA
Contract: 11 Months
Job Description:
· Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications.
· Utilize development experience and knowledge of SQL and RDMS, to create technical specifications, with deliverables that include pseudo code and test cases.
· Facilitate and lead reviews (walkthroughs) of technical specifications with other members of the technical team communicating design, requirements, feature set, functionality and limitations of systems/applications to business and development team.
· Perform root cause analysis and resolution of problems affecting SQL Server based applications.
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: Required Skills:
- Prior Application Design and Development experience for complex multi-tiered applications
- Relational database design, SQL, TSQL, creating/modifying complex stored procedures, functions, indexing, and triggers.
- 4+ years of enterprise level testing methodology.
- Advanced knowledge of VISIO, WORD, and EXCEL to create technical documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred skills:
- SQL Server 2005/2008 or Oracle
- C#, ASP/.NET development
