SCOPE OF WORK
Quality Assurance Test Manager/Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst
The Quality Assurance Test Manager/Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst will provide expert quality assurance services; perform and lead tests to ensure that all systems meet minimum standards and requirements; work closely with application and vendor teams; create complex test data for internal applications and integrated application interfaces from multiple state agencies, document test data; develop improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future application test configurations.
Experience Required, in addition to the above requirements:
Performance Testing is required
Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in system, user acceptance and regression testing of web technology integration projects
Minimum 2 of the 5 years of testing experience conducted for web based System Integration projects
Experience in creating test cases and following proven test practices and approaches
Experience in test execution, issue tracking, and problem identification and resolution
State and/or federal government experience helpful, but not mandatory.
Skills Required:
Design and development of test plans including creating and documenting test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.
Documentation of test scripts
Test data development using application, database tools and/or files
Test case execution in a .NET web server based environment
Technology based integration, system and regression testing
Ability to identify and report performance issues
Documentation of reported problems and defects using tracking software
Good problem solving skills
Strong understanding of Use Case development
Strong documentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work individually or within a team environment
Ability to take direction and work to specified deadlines
Displays professionalism and a commitment to quality
Consistent attention to detail
Knowledge of SQL required
Knowledge of automation testing tools a plus.
Executing test cases and documenting test results.
Developing test cases from use cases as well interviewing power users.
Developing and running test automation scripts in a web services development environment.
Testing the application using sound engineering practices and employing solid Source Code Management practices.
Software black box and white box testing, load testing, and integrated systems testing.
Hands-on testing experience with web services and SOA interfaces.
Experience in short release cycles.
Experience dealing with performance bottlenecks and experience with performance analysis.
At least 1 year of experience with COTS testing tools such as Silk, IBM Rational Functional Tester, QTP, Selenium or Loadrunner.
Education Required:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field plus a minimum of 5 years work experience.
