Job Title: Webcenter Enterprise Portal Architect

Location: Charlotte NC

Duration: 6 Months

 

Job Description:

Must Have

·         Over 12 years Hands on Experience in J2EE based portal development projects.

·         Excellent knowledge of portal frameworks with experience in architecting portal solutions across different product landscape for enterprise portals.

·         Excellent knowledge and hands on experience on JSF, Oracle ADF framework and Oracle Web Center Portal.

·         Strong experience of leading a team/project for technical issues and guidance.

Nice To Have

·         Banking domain experience

·         Excellent knowledge of any open source portal platform (Liferay etc)

Responsibilities 

·         Will be involved in research, architecture, design, development, testing, benchmarking and coordination with associated upstream and downstream partner(s)

·         Collects the technical requirements and strategize the whole development based on requirements.

·         Prepares the prototype or conduct proof of concept to demonstrate the proposed technical design to the client.

·         Participates in the technical review meetings with the client and update the progress and challenges. Should come up with the alternate solutions for the problems faced.

·         Provides knowledge leadership in relevant research areas, technology tools & standards and architectural governance. Provides guidance to project teams regarding guiding principles, system and application design, coding and design standards, best practices, and system performance and availability.

·         Drive the technical strategy and lead team(s) in meeting the strategic objectives.

·         Designs complex systems at the component level, makes strategic technology choices, and directly supervises the quality of designs and implementation inside and between components

·         Work with application development teams, understand the functional requirements of the end applications and arrive at the functionality requirement for the platform

·         Should be the primary point of contact for technical questions

·         Work directly with the client to fulfill project requirements and advise client on future developments

·         Involve in Project scoping, estimation, planning

·         Create schedules for individual developers in the team, review and train new hires.
