Position: Senior PeopleSoft Developer – Human Resources Information Systems
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Business Skills
· Overall familiarity with HRMS applications with the following skill set:
- Mastery in: HR Information Systems (Payroll, Benefits, Employee Services)
- Competence in: enterprise application integration and external vendor integrations
· Ability to train, teach and mentor fellow programmers
· Understanding of corporate governance and compliance issues including but not limited to:
- Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Family Education Rights and Privacy (FERPA)
- Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB)
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA)
Technical Tool Knowledge
Senior Software Developer will need to have a demonstrated mastery of seven (7) of the following tools/languages and have knowledge of the rest:

- Workflow - AWE
- HTML
- Microsoft SQL
- Oracle DB/SQL Server
- PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions and triggers)
- PL/SQL Developer, SQL Developer
- RDBMS Core Concepts (DML and DDL)
- RDBMS Modeling & Design (ERD, UML, Toad)
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) / Web Services
- Structured Query Reporter (SQR)
- UNIX Shell Scripting
- View Creation
- XML
- ETL
- Oracle Service Bus
Design
- Mastery level ability to design and architect solutions across multiple components and applications
- Mastery level understanding and ability to design service-based solutions
- Ability to provide accurate estimates of time and effort to design, build, test and implement solutions
Experience
- 7 years software coding
- 7 years software design and analysis
- 7 years software unit testing and debugging
Communication
- Strong written and oral communication
- Ability to understand user requirements and translate into technical design
- Ability to effectively communicate with end users and team members the status of the work being performed, issues that come up, expected milestones etc.
- Willingness to work in and support a collaborative team environment
- Ability to produce clear and concise documentation of systems and processes
Leadership
- Ability to lead developers in moderate sized and complex projects
- Ability to mentor peers and less experienced staff on technology and approaches
- Self-led and independently motivated, requiring minimal direction from management
