Senior Mainframe Technical Project Lead
Technical Responsibilities:
Tasks performed include system study, user requirements gathering, working on Logical and Physical designs, preparing High level and Low level documentation, development, testing, resolving defects, , , documentation and implementation of the projects over full project life cycle. Working with upstream and down stream systems to get their data requirements in place, supporting the QA testing, working on database administration and maintenance tasks like DB2 Loads and Unloads, Reorgs, Image copies. Providing Proactive Performance Tuning by running DB2 Explains and Tune the Queries if necessary to make sure the Performance of the systems wont deteriorate because of the changes went in for the work releases, Working with offshore as an onsite coordinator to coordinate the development work for the applications.

Tools used includes Endevor, Xpeditor, File aid for Flat files, File aid for DB2, JHS, Query Management Facility(QMF), SPUFI, TSO/ISPF, Quality Center, STROBE, DB2 Enterprise Server Edition, BMC Utilities, DB2 Admin tool, Sync sort, Quick Job.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
