We have job opening for the position of "SQL Developer (ETL & SSIS)" with our client for the location Des Moines, IA, 9 - 12 Months Contract. 

Note: Locals to IA or near by IA are highly preferable 

Note: State/Govt/Federal/Dept Exp is must

Skills Required: 

Develop, modify and optimize SSIS packages

SQL 2005 & SQL 2008

Experience building SSIS packages using built-in SSIS components

Experience writing complex T-SQL

Experience analyzing, profiling, manipulating data from a large variety of sources

Experience loading data into a SQL Data Warehouse

Troubleshoot abstract data, profile, analyze and optimize data

Data modeling experience

Job Description:

This position will be a member of a team but will need to work independently.  They will report to a Senior Architect/DBA but will require self-direction.  Job responsibilities will span ETL development/data transformation and database modeling with heavy data analysis skills. This candidate should be an expert in creating, modifying and maintaining SSIS packages which will be used to move data from source systems to the data warehouse backend.  Advanced skills in writing complex Structured Query Language (SQL) queries are required.
