Title : Business Analyst with Very Strong BI Exp

Location : IL & DC (Travel Upto 100%)

Duration : 6 Months Plus Contract

Job Description:

Job Profile:

-Contract position with potential for long term project pipeline with Nova Partners.

-Requires full travel mobility (up to 100%) across East Coast, Southeast and Midwest.

-Considering multiple experience levels of both 5-10 years (associate) and also 10-20+ years (senior)

Required Experience:

-Bachelor's degree in Business or IT with 5+ years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing as a Business Analyst.

-A minimum of 3 years consulting experience.

-Genuine excitement for analyzing large and complex data sets and converting them into the information which drives business decisions.

-Experience with front end reporting tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Oracle BI, Hyperion, Tableau, Microstrategy, or other industrial platforms.

-Strong technical understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Enterprise Performance Management.

-Strong hands-on SQL experience.

Additional skills:

In addition to the core Business Analyst skills above, capabilities in any of these areas is considered a strong plus:

Project Management – PMP certification and ability to shift to PM role as required.

Report Development – Use of BI Reporting tools such as OBIEE, Cognos, Business Objects to develop Dashboards and reports.

Data Modeling – knowledge and use of Erwin or similar tool.
