Job Description:
Candidates whose background and expertise satisfy most of the following selection criteria are sought:
Degree, majoring in Computer Science/Information Systems
COGNOS Datastage Hands on Knowledge (Design and Server Administration)
IBM Cognos 10.1 Report Studio and Administrative knowledge (Cognos 8.4 also acceptable)
COGNOS report enhancement experience in a third party data source integration environment
Reporting and monitoring batch jobs and ability to identify the root causes for failure and restore services within the defined batch job window
Windows Server Knowledge
RDBMS Knowledge (Oracle 11g in IDB , BI – EDW)
BI – DW concepts
Technically proficient in job scripting, integrations and upgrades based on organizational needs
Proven ability to support major technology initiatives and tasks of the unit including coordination of working teams and maintenance of close and constructive working relationships with management and staff in defining and resolving technology issues
Proven conceptual, analytical and judgmental skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge Required or Desired:
5 yrs Design / Administrative experience in the technologies specified
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent Team skills (including working in Onsite – offshore model)
Flexibility to work
