Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Master degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience developing in Java, C++, Hadoop, MapReduce or an equivalent technology
• Experience with distributed Data systems and Platforms
• Experience with Data Science technologies.
Preferred Skills:
• A desire to create business applications out of new technologies
• Experience with any data science technologies, Information Retrieval, Information Extraction, Semantic and Syntactical analysis, Machine Learning, Statistical analysis, pattern matching, inference engines and or others.
• Very good understanding, background and skills in distributed systems and platforms.
• Very good fundamentals in Computer Science and or Mathematics and or Economics.
• Experience working with Global 2000 clients
• Understanding of technical architectures and the current state of the technology market in fields such as data management, service oriented architecture, or similar fields
• Experience with Mahout, Pentoho, Cassandra, etc.

Professional Skill Requirements:
• Experience in managing own work effort including time management, issue identification & resolution, and status reporting
• Desire to work in an R&D environment.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Base ability to establish credibility with clients and other team members
