SQL Analyst/Developer to design, build, test and QA existing and new dashboards and reports. The Analyst/Developer will write new SQL queries to answer business questions and enhance existing SQL queries across a wide spectrum ofbusiness programs focusing on marketing and buyer-related activities.
The Analyst/Developer will be responsible for processing and validating incoming dashboard and report specifications from internal business end-users, understanding the intrinsic business questions, and developing SQL queries to answer those questions. The Analyst/Developer also will be responsible for identifying problems and performing necessary updates and testing to existing SQL queries as needed.
This candidate will ensure the performance integrity and quality of reports, resolve problems and coordinate closely with our Data Services team to ensure data quality and breadth. The Developer should be prepared to act proactively, quickly identifying data gaps and effectively communicating with Analytics team members.
• 1-2 years of SQL query writing experience. Would not prefer anyone with more experience.
• Prefer a very eager and hungry worker looking to learn and grow
• Expertise with large-scale data warehouses and SQL databases, preferably Oracle.
• Advanced Oracle knowledge and skills using PL/SQL Developer and/or Toad.
• Proficient with analyzing large quantities of data and performing data validation, ad hoc analysis and optimized SQL queries.
• Experience working closely with internal business clients to solve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a small team environment, collaborating with colleagues across multiple time zones.
• Excellent analytical and research skills.
• Solid communication, organization and time-management skills.
• Scripting experience a big plus.
