2yrs Admin
5yrs Development
Understanding of Architecture
Teradata v 13.1, BAR Viewpoint
Performance tuning and data modeling
Experience working with vendors

 

Plusses
DBA experience in oracle or SQL
Oracle Key Manager
Protegrity

 

Role
We need a strong Teradata Administrator to support 3 different BI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have started off in a development role, and advanced into administration. They must have strong communications skills, and a firm grasp of Teradata. Their day to day activities are:

 

Work with project teams to make sure deliverables are met according to the project plan.
Work with various team on the back end (Storage, Network, Citrix, Windows) to keep the new platforms up and running.
Work with vendor (Teradata) for escalation issues.
