Role: TIBCO/Java - J2EE Developer Location: Chandler AZ. or Fremont CA Duration:12 to 18 Months
Required Skills:	Located in: Chandler AZ. or Fremont CA -Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering or related discipline required (may be waived with strong practical experience). -Demonstrated knowledge of J2EE, Java, and Spring/Hibernate Framework is required. -Knowledge of Tibco Products Business Works, Business Events, EMS, GI, HAWK, Administrators, Adapters is must. -Experience in Oracle Coherence Integration with Tibco Business Works is required. -Demonstrated proficiency at following accepted software development life cycles and associated standards and procedures, including any of the commonly used iterative methods is required. -Demonstrated knowledge of current programming.
Duties:	An experienced professional who works on complex projects with minimal supervision, the Senior Software Engineer will primarily utilize Java J2EE/ Tibco technologies to develop applications and shared services for the services oriented architecture (SOA) environment. In addition, the senior engineer will provide full lifecycle support in maintaining and enhancing our existing suite of web applications. The engineer will also work with customers to assess business needs, document requirements as needed, design solutions, create prototypes for user acceptance, and work with quality assurance team members to ensure the produced implementation meets functional and performance requirements. The engineer may also oversee a small group of developers, reporting the status to their project manager. Performs as technical lead, and assists with project management responsibilities as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: In collaboration with manager and lead software engineer, performs and directs analysis, design, development and unit testing of complex software applications; and leads resolution of defects. - 10+ years of expert experience in JAVA and J2EE technologies and Design Patterns. - Expertise in TIBCO products - BW, GI, EMS, Adapters like ADB, FILE, MQ, and TIBCO Business Events. Subject Matter expert on Oracle Coherence Technical Infrastructure. -Expertise in Web services - SOAP, HTTP, XML, WSDL, XSD. -Design, Develop and Support large Oracle Coherence Cluster for very high Transactional data. Review and provide recommendations on Oracle Coherence grid sizing and memory allocations to assist with business requirements. -Works with other software engineers to develop project estimates, tasks and schedules. -Provides project status updates to managers and business partners. -Directs development of system documentation according to established standards. -Participates in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews, as needed. -Lead efforts to enhance performance of existing applications. -Interfaces regularly with other I.T. teams and sections, business partners and business/requirements analysts to determine new system requirements and to solve complex operational problems. -Aids in systems development planning and monitoring. -Provides technical mentoring to junior developers.
