Position: Software Engineer III

Client: Blackhawk Network

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Contract Duration: 9+ month contract

Visa Info: Any Visa status will work

Rate: $50/hr on c2c or $40/hr on w2

 

 

Required Skills :

1) 5+ years of software design and development experience with core Java and J2EE; Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
2) Experience with Spark and Scala; AWS deployment automation: Terraform/Cloud Formation.
3) Experienced in building resilient, stateless, scalable, & distributed systems.

Basic Qualifications :

 

• Programming/scripting/query Languages: Java, Python, SQL
• General AWS Service knowledge: S3, Redshift, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, EC2, EMR, Data Pipeline, Glue, Kinesis, SNS, SQS

Job Description : 

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

1)      Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

2)      Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using AWS database/data technologies

3)      Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics
