Urgent need of Business /Data Analyst in Herndon, VA for 6+ Months

Title: Business /Data Analyst
Location: Herndon, VA
Duration: 6+ months

F2F is mandatory after telephonic

Strong SQL and Oracle experience required MUST HAVE
 
Business /Data Analyst III is responsible for leading the functional
requirements gathering team. The candidate works directly with internal
customers to understand the business environment and needs. Identifies
relevant design, process and specification issue.
Responsibilities:

• Understand business context and problems and communicates them clearly in
written and oral format.
• Work with the business users to understand & document the design and
functionality requirements.
• Answer questions and scenarios that may come up as the developers and
testers work off the business requirements.
• Create process flows, presentations and reports to document
recommendations and deliver them to the business stakeholders.
• Performs detailed analysis of complex business processes and requirements
and proposes solutions.
• Compose user manuals, technical references, release notes, and other
customer facing technical documents for EUCs.
• Develop test plans, test cases, procedures, and documents given business
requirements and design documents.
• The analyst may also assist in development of prototypes / proof of
concept applications in MS-Access with MS-Access / Oracle backend.
Performs User Acceptance Testing of the EUC applications.
• Perform data analysis and understand data flows

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in documenting business requirements for systems
development projects.
• 3+ years of experience in a consulting environment with a focus on
business analysis.
• Prior experience in MS-Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access), Visio,
Business Objects.
• Strong SQL and Oracle experience required
• Understands basic relational databases as well as user interface design.
