Job Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Application Services and Integration Architect role
provides the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design skills
required to develop an enterprise application and service integration
architecture.
Provide subject matter expertise for multiple application services and
integration domains including service-oriented architecture (SOA),
enterprise service bus design and implementation, enterprise
application integration, and application services development
Lead the Application Services and Integration Center of Excellence
Work closely with application development teams to ensure that a
coherent and consistent approach to application service design,
implementation and integration is achieved
Develop a road map for creating a common enterprise integration layer
- based on SOA principles - that is well organized, flexible,
reusable, governable and sustainable
Create the Technology Standards and Architecture Patterns that define
the current and future state of the application services and
integration domain
Create and maintain an Application Services Catalog that provides a
comprehensive enterprise wide view of the organization's business
application services and how they can be accessed and integrated
Establish communication channels that keep the account, the customer,
and other stakeholders including application and infrastructure
development and support teams - engaged with and informed about
important activities, events and decisions occurring in the in
application services and integration domain
Required Skills:
Minimum of 8 years of information technology experience is required
Minimum of two years hands-on experience with at least three of
following technical disciplines is required; Application development
(full development cycle), Infrastructure design and implementation
(network, server or storage), Middleware & integration technologies
(application server, message bus,service bus), Database design and
implementation or Business process management systems
Minimum of 3 years of experience with service-oriented architecture
design and implementation using an enterprise service bus is required
Minimum of two years of experience in a technical or architecture
leadership role is required
The ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups of business
and technical stakeholders is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
Minimum Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study is
required
Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field of
study is preferred
