Responsibilities:
· This work effort involves providing DB2 DBA maintenance and development support of mainframe DB2 application databases in all environments (development, validation, integration, and production). The resource will migrate the database through the life cycle and create the maintenance jobs to support the database in all environments as it goes through them. The DBA will be participating in the troubleshooting of slow running applications to determine modification to enhance performance. Direct interaction with the application development teams will be required.
· Additionally, working knowledge of DB2 Version 9 and the new XML features is desired in order to aid SSA in utilizing the new feature.
Requirements:
· Mainframe DB2 DBA experience at least Version 8, Version 9 experience is a bonus.
· Prior experience in mainframe application development accessing DB2 databases.
· A strong knowledge of how read/tune SQL is required.
· Experience with CA DB2 tools.
· Experience with Ommegamon for DB2.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to independently research problems and provide solutions.
· May be requested to mentor client/LM staff.
· Will be required to provide weekend/off-hours support.
Education:
· An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 11 years of professional experience at various levels of DBA administration.

Responsibilities:
- Developer to be part of a team charged with developing mainframe applications to prove prototype techniques. This is a prototype role evolving into a design/development role.
- Experience with Testbase is important!
Requirements:
· Senior level resource with 5-7 years of Mainframe experience.
· Proficiency in IBM Z/OS Mainframe environment, Enterprise COBOL (XML commands), DB2, CICS, VSAM, MQ Series, JCL, IDMS, FILEAID, FILEAID for DB2, FILE AID RDX, XPEDITER, Intertest, Abend-Aid, Abend-Aid Online, CLIST, REXX, Syncsort, Dialog Manager, TSO, ISPF,SDSF, ENDEVOR, BMC tools, IDCAMS, Control-M, Strobe, IBM Utilities, QMF, SPUFI, CA-Unicenter ("PLATINUM"), Softbase System Testbase IBM DEBUG TOOL & Cyberfusion.
· Also need strong XML skills.

Desired:
Ab-Initio experience/exposure, UNIX skills, ColdFusion/Java experience.

- 11+ Years of Mainframe COBOL and DB2 programming experience.
· Experience developing new applications using structured development including detail design, coding and using unit test scripts with expected results.
Requirements:
- The candidate must have experience with TSO, JCL, and utilities. The candidate should have experience accessing multiple types of data stores on the mainframe platform (VSAM, IDMS, and DB2).
