Title: Software Test Architect

Location: Blue Bell, PA

Duration: 3 to 6 months contract

 

 

Job Scope:
As a Software Test Architect, you will be providing technical leadership and strategic direction to the testing team while formulating an integrated test architecture that supports the organization's testing policies and processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for architecting, organizing and implementing test strategy
• Design and optimize test approaches, test environment and testing tools for manual, automated and performance testing
• Develop solutions for test efficiency improvements and for improving product quality
• Architect and implement a maintainable testing framework
• Build and maintain a software test automation framework
• Manage and coordinate the software test engineer team
• Provide technical leadership to the testing team
• Collaborate with product management and development to provide unified executable test plans and estimates
• Provide guidance, feedback, and suggestions to improve quality practices across the organization
• Travel on a national basis 10% of work schedule

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a technical lead in software development/system test or QA automation architect
• Design/Programming skills with knowledge of Python, Java, XML, PL/SQL, OO principles, DBMS
• 3+ years experience with automated testing tools
• End-to-end experience with software test planning, test development and test execution
• Experience estimating software testing efforts
• Proven track record architecting, designing and implementing automation frameworks
• Healthcare experience highly desirable but not required
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required
• Good analytical and problem solving skills required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
