Duration: 3 -6 + Months
Description:
Serves as liaison between business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. - Posses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organization systems and capabilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS or BA degree required. Preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years progressive experience performing as a Business Analyst or equivalent role such as project work from the perspective of Product Management, software engineering, QA, or technical writing on one or more projects.
• Excellent soft skills, including experience in positive relationship management, facilitation, diplomacy, and conflict resolution
• Proven successful track record working in a collaborative and evolutionary environment
• Experience working within an Agile development team environment, Scrum experience preferred
• Ability to work successfully as part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team including writers, graphic designers, project managers, software engineers, database engineers and software quality assurance engineers.
• Very strong verbal communication, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to manage both time and work load independently
• Ability to manage change, not prevent it
• Proficiency with MS Office suite of products, including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques and skills
• Must have proven analytic background
• Excellent documentation skills, especially in the area of requirement management document practices in an Agile environment
• Knowledgeable of SDLC practices such as requirement management, change control management, requirement traceability, requirement prioritization, software development (application programming, database, and system design), software quality assurance testing, product launch
• Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
• Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
• Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets.
• Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management.
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project.
• Manages client expectations effectively.
