Network Engineer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 12+ months

Rate: DOE

 

Responsibilities

·         primary purpose will be to install and troubleshoot LAN cabling infrastructure.

·         Physical installation and testing of LAN cabling and infrastructure, lightweight construction and installation and basic troubleshooting of LAN equipment

 

Required Skills

·         Advanced experience with physical LAN cabling (copper and fiber) installation, termination and testing

·         Ability to manage tasks and meet schedules

·         Excellent organizational and English communication skills both written and oral

·         Excellent customer service and teamwork skills

·         Willingness to work overtime as needed

·         Willingness to accommodate regular regional travel, and occasional overnight travel.

Preferred:

·         Experience with Avaya (Nortel) LAN switching products.

·         Prior experience with Network Field Services.
