We are looking for a senior  ETL (Datastage developer) for a 18 Months contract position in San Francisco, CA.

Candidates must have strong communications skills, and experience with Datastage version 8.

Job Description :

ETL  Datastage developer with 3+ years hands-on experience using Datastage 8 parallel extender.

 

Responsibilities include: -

Developing and documenting detailed  ETL specifications based on business requirements. - Developing efficient ETL applications ensuring compliance with ETL Best Practices and Standards. - Troubleshooting or assisting in resolving data and/or application issues. - Participating in all aspects of the project lifecycle and follow stringent rules and procedures for testing and promoting code in compliance with Change Control Board processes - Participate in design/code review sessions and make recommendations/suggestions for improvement. - Communicating team status and issues to ETL Lead/Senior Management.

Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Oracle and SQL, PL/SQL -Experience with data warehousing -Experience with Windows and UNIX -Excellent data analysis, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
