urgent need for DW/INFORMATICA developer with our direct client

Duration: 6 months

Location: Irvine CA

 

Job Description:

Primary Skills:Informatica and Siebel EIM Consultant. Primary Technology:Informatica & Data Warehouse Mapping Consultant Senior ETL Design w/ Senior Informatica Developer (65%), Data Warehouse Design & Mapping Experience (35%)

 

1. At least 3 years of experience in the full life cycle of a Data Warehouse including analysis, design and development

2. At least 3 years of experience in the full life cycle of an Informatica project within the SDLC process (design, development, testing, documentation, deployment)

3. Ability to engage in the detailed design phase and participate in all downstream SDLC activities

4. Ability to author the logical design and the subsequent detailed technical design and development with minimal direction.

5. Ability to analyze an existing data warehouse to map existing fields against new data sources, and to modify the data warehouse to change existing field mappings to new sources

6. Design and implement the changes while ensuring that these changes do not break existing business &system rules

7. Interfact directly with functional analysts and business representatives to resolve design and testing issues and help them confirm that the data is loaded properly 8. Positive approach and tolerance for ambiguity

 

Programming experience with Informatica, Experience of PL/SQL programming, Experience of database application programming, Data modeling or database administration is a plus, Project Management is a plus.
