Major Purpose of Job:

The Oracle Developer/ Administrator / Oracle Middleware Developer is responsible for identifying, analyzing and resolving technical problems related to Oracle Databases 9i and installations at several facilities.  The selected candidate will also be involved in evaluating, architecting, developing, testing, implementation, and documentation of a migration upgrade plan for the existing Oracle databases to the latest Oracle releases, software tools, and application products.

• Expert ability in Oracle 9i, 10g, (11g a plus)
• product installation,
• integration,
• administration,
• design,
• software development and implementation,
• troubleshooting skills,
• documentation

Requirements:

• Expert ability in Oracle 9i, 10g, and 11g products installation, integration, administration, and troubleshooting skills;
• Strong PL/SQL Development skills
• Must have good knowledge, understanding, and experience with standby database, replication, DataGuard and other high availability features of Oracle database.
• Proficient in designing databases based on the details of data requirements, structures and associated components.
• Install and maintain the operating system and related software products.
• Develop, document, and implement procedures that support, maintain and enhance the Oracle database environment.
• Strong working knowledge to upgrade, maintain and Support  Oracle database products in Linux / Windows / OpenVMS environment
• Maintain and ensure availability and capacity of Oracle Database Server
• Products and services and support client applications in a high availability environment.
