Position: Lead ATG Architect

Location: San Antonio, TX

Duration: 6 – 12 Months

Rate: DOE

 

Required ATG Architect lead in Onsite.

 

Technical Skills:

 

Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience with direct experience in building and deploying eCommerce and Consumer portals with overall 12+ hands on experience in developing, designing and technically leading teams

Minimum three years experience in architecture implementation, customization, performance tuning, and/or deployment of ATG Commerce including Suite, ATG Merchandizing, ATG Content Management, ATG Search, and ATG Outreach

Enterprise with level clustering and load balancing, fail-over, scalability, and interfacing knowledge

Well versed with J2EE technologies and architected solutions using J2EE technologies

 

Development experience specifically including:

 

·        JavaBeans, POJO

·        HTML, CSS

·        DHTML, JavaScript, AJAX

·        JSP, Servlets, ATG Droplets

·        JDBC, JMS, JNDI

·        Java Tag Libraries and ATG specific tag libraries

·        RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server

·        Security integration like LDAP, LDIF

·        Development process experience specifically including:

·        Rational or Agile Development Processes

·        Source Code Management using CVS, SubVersion

·        Creating Development Estimates

·        Resource utilization and planning

·        Development Planning

·        Architectural experience with:

·        Java Design patterns

·        MVC/Struts architectures

·        Web and eCommerce Integration experience with:

·        CMS - Templatized content, Custom Content, Workflow, Publication, Syndication

·        Search Engines like ATG Search, Endeca, Lucerne or Autonomy

·        Ad Engines

·        Tax Calculation Services like Taxaware

·        Catalog and Category Management

·        Order Management Systems

·        Pricing Management

·        Payment Processing using Cybersource and/or PayPal

·        Fulfillment Services using an internal or 3rd party service

·        Post Sale Services - Refund, Return, Customer Care Management

·        Web Services - Integration with internal applications and SaaS

·        Server and Networking Experience:

·        LDAP product knowledge

·        General Networking knowledge and experience

·        Operating Systems like Solaris, Linux

·        Web Servers like Apache, IBM HTTP Server

·        Application Optimization - JVM Semantics and Garbage Collection knowledge

 

Additional Skills:

 

ATG Platform Specialist and ATG Commerce Certified Developers are highly recommended.

 

Candidate will have attend and successfully completed the following ATG Developer, Instructor-Led, Training Courses are highly recommend:

 

·        ATG Commerce Suite Essentials

·        Fundamentals of ATG Platform Development

·        Extending the ATG Platform

·        ATG Personalization and ScenariDevelopment

·        Creating Commerce Applications

·        Establishing the ATG Content Administration Environment

·        Installing and Configuring ATG Commerce Search

·        Installing and Extending the ATG Customer Intelligence Data Warehouse
