BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SOLUTION ARCHITECT
Description:
The Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse group is responsible for managing the delivery of all information needs to our global team. The expansion of the use of business intelligence tools is one of our key strategies and we are looking for the right individual to lead and manage that strategy and adoption.
Responsibilities Overview:
Must have a proven track record of building Data Warehouse solutions built on SAP BW.
Must have the ability to deliver reporting strategies inside and outside of the enterprise utilizing the Business Objects toolset (Enterprise, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reporting, Xcelsius)
Must have the ability to develop, communicate and drive adoption of Business Intelligence solutions across all levels of the organization.
Must have the ability to drive solutions to executable projects, delivery and adoption.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Develop a Business Intelligence architecture that enables reporting at all levels within the organization and to external partners.
Design an Integrated Business Intelligence approach across all areas across the organization (Sales, Operations, Finance).
Design and develop core components of the BIDW framework.
Enforce a data governance framework over the data warehouse, maintain SOX compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business Information Systems
10+ years direct experience in Data Warehousing and/or Business Intelligence
Solid understanding and experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse techniques.
Experience in SOA architecture to enable data access both inside and outside the enterprise
Exposure to rich technical environment that includes SAP ECC, SAP CRM, & SAP BW
Direct experience with developing on a SAP BW platform
Proven hands-on experience with the following or equivalent technologies:
Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.x
Web Intelligence and Universe
Crystal Reporting
Xcelsius 2008 with LiveOffice
Query as a Web Service
Business Objects Universe
Experience extracting data from multiple sources
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure and passion for driving positive results with usual business constraints
Strong relationship building skills to drive the results through close partnerships with business partners
Process and metrics driven
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Project management and prioritization skills
