Job Description

 

5-8 years relevant technical experience and 5+ years of experience within the Financial Services sector

Strong core java experience: collection, Java Concurrency etc

Strong design experience including design patterns Strong understanding of EJBs and EJB design patterns

Strong experience in Messaging including MQ and EMS

Strong experience in Databases including Oracle and Sybase Strong experience in Hibernate and other ORM tools

Strong experience in Spring framework Strong experience in Test driven development including Junit

Strong experience in Shell and Perl scripting

Some exposure to Rational and Agile methodology

Some exposure to ETL tools like DataStage and Informatica

Some exposure to Datawarehouse design and implementation

Some exposure to Business Objects universe design and reporting Proven track record of delivering data quality and service Flexibility, ability to multi-task, committed Open, engaging personality

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

Will be working on Clearing and Settlement systems in Investment banking domain. Will be responsible for designing and developing Trade/Settlement Suite of applications in Java.
