Hello,



This is a long term position in Framingham MA_ 12 months to start could go
18 months. Rate is open. Phone to hire- need to be strong in LDAP and
Directory Services.
 



Sr. Directory Services Engineer

- 3-5 years experience with Sun Java System Directory Server (Oracle DSEE)
6.x and 7.x in a large corporate environment
- Experience supporting complex directory service environments on a global
 scale; ability to work with globally distributed and cross functional
teams
- Familiar with company acquisitions and the integration of services
dependent on centralized Directory Services
- Must be able to work collectively with a team to ensure stable operation
 of company's Directory Services environment.  Team is responsible for
architecture, engineering, maintenance and support of directory services
and those applications that utilize them
- Monitor Directory Services environments including Sun Java System
 Directory Services and Open LDAP
- Experience installing and configuring Directory Server instances in
replicated environments
- Understanding and implementation of disaster recovery procedures
- Successfully troubleshoot issues in a distributed system and provide
 resolutions for any and all problems assigned
- Root Cause analysis; work with other teams and staff to identify root
cause of problems and make recommendations on how to stop repeat issues
- Well versed with SLAMD tool to run performance testing jobs. Ability to
 write custom SLAMD jobs if needed
- Well-versed in Directory Server tuning and capacity management
- Good shell/Perl programming skills for data manipulation utilizing LDAP
APIs
- Must be able to use LDAP command line tools (ldapsearch, ldapmodify, etc)
 - Well-versed in LDIF
- Solid understanding of LDAP schema and customizations
- Unix/Linux experience on physical or virtual systems required
- Understanding of PCI/SOX and other compliance requirements is helpful
 - Experience with Sun Identity and Access Manager is helpful
- Experience with OS level LDAP central authentication helpful
- Open LDAP experience helpful
- Excellent communication skills [verbal and written]
 - Rotating on-call duties as assigned
