Urgent Need of SAP BI/BW Developer in Allentown, PA

This is for one of our client opening for SAP BI/BW Developer in Allentown, PA. This is a 12 months Contract position. The hourly rate is DOE.

 

Job Description:

Position's primary focus is on utilizing SAP BW, SAP ERP and SQL Server in the creation/enhancement of data repositories to used for Business Intelligence reporting and analytical solutions

 

Area of development will include, but are not limited to SAP Business Warehouse (Modeling, Administration, BEx), ABAP and MS SQL Server.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Identify and implement the best approach for extracting data from both SAP BW and SAP ERP and loading into SQL Server database for use business analysis and reporting

2. Design, code, test, and document these solutions

3. Design , build and test the SQL Server database

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. 6 -10 years experience working in Business Intelligence field

2. 6+ years SAP BW development (extensive hands on experience)

3. 6+ years MS SQL Server development

4. Knowledge in fundamental concepts and practices of Business Intelligence, OLAP, data warehouse design, including multidimensional and relational reporting and analysis

5. Knowledge of SAP/ERP ECC 6.0 functional areas FI,MM,PP,SD

6. 3-4 years ABAP experience

7. SAP Data Services a plus

8. Demonstrated track record of successful task and/or project delivery

9. Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills

10. Strong oral and written communications skills

11. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

 

Overtime may be required during releases, but no overtime premium will be paid. During release, night and weekend work will be required.
