Overview:

Client seeks a Solutions Architect in Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities
- Work with business teams and technical analysts to understand business requirements.
- Determine how to leverage technology to create solutions that satisfy the business requirements.
- Serve as a technical resource for business teams to help define, estimate, and propose solutions for business opportunities.
- Provide critical architectural inputs during RFI and RFP process.
- Create architecture and technical design documents to communicate solutions that will be implemented by the development team.
- Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems.
- Prepare visual diagrams of system architecture, functionality, and process flows.
- Work with development, infrastructure, test, and production support teams to ensure proper implementation of solution.
- Educate organization on available and emerging toolsets.
- Present solutions to clients, project teams, and other stakeholders adapting style to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to define service delivery landscape
- Work in an ambiguous, large and complex organization on tight-timelines with DBA team to ensure set-up of environment

Skills
- Expert level understanding of marketing automation tools and technologies, advanced analytics, data integration, business intelligence, data architecture, web services, and SOA.
- Understanding of the full lifecycle business process and has demonstrated the ability to create world class solutions with measureable impact.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of the software development life-cycle, including traditional large-scale waterfall as well as agile and Scrum-based models.
- Understanding of data views, data capture, requirements gathering, functional design of reports, data and reporting integration
- Understanding of data needed to support Marketing campaigns, requirements gathering, functional design of reports
- Capable of performing design and configuration of complex systems with a focus on best practices for scalability, supportability and ease of administration and system performance.
- Excellent organization skills – ability to work effectively and independently prioritize tasks in a fast changing environment.
- Experience working with vendors to evaluate, select, and implement 3rd party solutions.
- Familiarity with data warehousing components (data acquisition, ETL, data modeling, infrastructure, profiling and reporting)
- Familiarity with web services implementations and service oriented architectures
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Business Objects and SAS.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques for 3NF, dimensional models and hyper-normalized models.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in a team environment with team members of various technical skill levels.

Experience
- 8 years of minimum experiences in multiple functional areas such as BI Data Warehousing, Billing, Middleware, Handset order, Business Object, SAP etc.
- Application Development background is a plus.
- Past experience as a solutions architect.
- Experience in leading technical project delivery for marketing automation and customer data mart implementations.
- 5+ years' experience with the following technologies
- RDBMS (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Unix and Windows operating systems
- ETL Tools (Informatica, SSIS, etc.)
- Reporting, Analytic and OLAP tools
- Campaign Management tools (Unica, SAS, Infor, etc)
- Infrastructure components including server configuration, SAN, NAS, and networking

- Experience with campaign management systems architecture and familiarity with physical implementation, as well as integrating advanced analytics and response tracking.
- Experience implementing data environments in support of marketing functions including: campaign management, advanced analytics, and response tracking.
- Experience in data analysis in wireless business systems preferred
