Job Title                : Mainframe SAS developer

Job Overview:

Mainframe SAS developer to help build and maintain operational Management Information reports for the Consumer and Mortgage Lending line of business for a large Global bank. The candidate should have experience in building operational, financial reports using SAS preferably in the banking industry. Working knowledge of other ETL tools an added advantage. Domain knowledge in Consumer and Mortgage Lending/Cards preferred. Should be hands on, an independent performer and be willing and able to work in a high pressure and demanding environment.

 

Development duties will include

•             Building new SAS marts and reports using data from enterprise data warehouse.

•             Build operational and financial reports for the end business operations teams using data from multiple warehouses and data sources.

•             Supporting this application in the development and production environments.

•             Communication with users to gather requirements and analyze/address issues.

•             Investigating and fixing bugs / Participating in test execution cycles.

•             Interact with other technology groups as needed.

•             Tune the application to meet Service Level agreements on regulatory reporting and to handle large volume of data

 

Basic Technical Requirements

•             Strong programming skills in Mainframe SAS

•             4- 6 years of experience

•             Banking domain knowledge required

•             Working knowledge/experience of ETL technologies like Datastage, Cognos an added advantage.

•             Preferable experience with Customer Information management, Management Information systems.

•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
