Asset Management & Configuration Analyst

In person interviews will be conducted after phone screen.

 

Location: Quincy, MA

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: Open

 

Responsible for the accurate accounting and control of all MIS hardware and software

·         Aid in establishing and enforcing business standards, policies, procedures and internal controls.

·         Review supply requests and purchase orders to determine & document new assets

·         Communicate with technical teams to review data discrepancies

·         Communicate with financial teams to review reports & associate lease / financial data /w the physical asset

·         Prepares and provides inventory management, with reports detailing serial numbers, equipment locations, and use as required.

 

  Responsible for inventory control standards and procedures

·         Conducts actual physical inventory as required.

·         Help establish input and control guidelines for IT Support Staff

·         Determines allocation and configuration of hardware and software

·         Assures that all hardware and software is entered into inventory database upon receipt.

                                                                                

Responsible to assure that software complies with Agency and industry standards.

·         Assures Software configurations meet the capabilities and limitations of the hardware to be installed on

·         Maintains Software licensing records

·         Assures that all installed Software is compliant with Agency and industry standards  

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree

·         Understanding of Asset & Configuration Management systems

·         Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel, Access).

·         Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail

·         Ability to do repetitive tasks with minimal supervision

·         Results oriented with excellent communication and customer service skills

·         Ability to gather information by examining records/documents & by questioning individuals.

·         Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize & execute tasks while under pressure.

·         Able to lift 35lbs and push 65lbs
