Role: SQL Server DBA

Duration: 12 Months

Location: AZ

 

Skills Required

·         Ability to use software tools, languages, scripts and shells required for effective support of the database enterprise.

·         Ability to work independently on technical functions associated with creating and maintaining databases in one or more computing environments

·         Solid understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts.

·         Experience in writing database related queries, developing and implementing stored procedures

·         Full knowledge of SQL including programming and ways to optimize SQL code.

·         Expert in SQL-Server with a solid knowledge of RDBMS-specific tool and utility knowledge and experience in such areas as monitoring, database migration, DDL management and replication.

·         Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle.

·         A sound knowledge of both database and system performance tuning.

·         Experience in Oracle database administration a plus.
