Project:

·         Performance tuning

·         Participation in design of overall reporting data model specifically offering subject matter expertise on data modeling paradigms which can support efficient Cognos Reporting

·         Development of custom Cognos SDK and mash up services components to support portal integration

·         Reviewing Business Requirements and translating then into low level technical designs

·         Development of Framework Model and Reports

 

Required Skills:

·         7-10 Years Data Warehousing experience

·         9-10 Years experience with Cognos development

·         3-4 Years Experience with Javascript and the Cognos SDK

·         Experience with Cognos 10 specifically with Business Insight and Business Insight Advanced

·         Experience with the Cognos SDK and Mashup Sevices

·         Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills

·         Strong SQL tuning experience

·         Dimensional and data warehouse modeling experience

·         Good understanding of Cognos Administration

·         Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex issues and solutions

·         Ability to work independently without significant oversight

·         Ability to quickly grasp business problems

·         Experience in Financial Services
