Salesforce Report Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
- Leverage Salesforce reporting tools to develop sales reporting and dashboards for individual contributors, managers, directors
- Build and modify a range of reports & dashboards for sales, marketing and other key groups
- High level degree of skill set in using Salesforce reporting tools to achieve business objectives of reporting on key Sales KPI – new business, renewals, total business and key activity metrics including pipeline, quoting progress, etc. Analyze sales data and provide fit-for-purpose metrics that are used to make business decisions
- Experience with reporting with SFDC CPQ
- Responsible for implementing reporting and tools that will maintain the integrity and accuracy of Salesforce.com data
- Assist in the development of internal audits and controls to ensure the integrity of business processes and data.
- Acts as liaison with other groups by understanding the sales model and ensuring the integrity of information available through the various system and reporting structures.
- Update documentation and other supporting materials, as needed
- Provide routine support to sales reporting team to support adoption of reports and dashboards
- At least three years of sales analyst and related systems experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (hands-on experience with formulas, comparing datasets, etc.)
- Salesforce Certified Administrator certification preferred
- Salesforce Lightning user interface experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security & access is a plus
General Project Experience:
- Participate in meetings and projects with staff, project managers, and developers to automate, upgrade, or expand functionalities that accomplish client requirements.
- Configure reporting client requirements without depending on the developers
- Provide configuration expertise for validation and testing
- Analyze and assist in data migration testing if required
- Advice on test plans and scripts and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Identify major milestones and establish critical path within the project plan while monitoring and reporting progress toward milestones on a daily or weekly basis as required
- Serve as liaison between the Consultant and Team members facilitating daily and weekly project review meetings
- Foster and maintain good relationships with IT colleagues, both internal and external
