Sr Java J2EE Web Developer
Location : Hoffman Estates, IL.

Key Requirements:
- 3-7 years experience in developing web applications, e-Commerce experience a plus
- Passion for Java and web technologies
- Ability to adapt to new development environments, changing business requirements and learning new systems highly desired
- Core competencies in Java, JSP, HTTP and JavaScript is required.
- Object Oriented Design and Programming, tier components (JDBC, Servlets, JMS, JNDI, etc.), Java/J2EE design patterns, Web Services and stand alone Java applications
- Experience developing SOAP, REST, JSON services is a plus
- Good understanding of web services software architectural and design issues.
- Works well in a team environment and be able to effectively drive cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies including code reviews and version control software such as CVS or Subversion.
- Experience with E-Commerce or other order processing systems
- Bachelors degree – preferably in computer science – or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Java / J2EE Architect
Location : Hoffman Estates, IL.

The ideal candidate is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about cutting-edge technology, design framework and architecture, must be able to think fast on their feet, entrepreneurial/startup mindset, creative and willing to adapt to a fast-moving and ambiguous environments. This individual is very hands-on with codes and capable to developing proof of concepts on his/her own. He/she must have effective communication skills and ability to present at senior management level. In addition, the individual will be setting budgets, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects and work-streams and working with other internal teams. He/she must be able to operate independently and autonomously. Maturity, judgment, negotiation skills, influence and leadership skills are all essential.
Key Requirements:
- 14+ years of software design and development
- Experience architecting, designing, and developing reliable, high volume, high performance, highly available and scalable systems/products
- This position requires broad and deep systems development and management experience
- Significant development and coding experience and knee deep with the codes in the current role
- Full software development life-cycle experience
- Proven experience managing highly skilled engineers
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams by providing clear direction, coaching, guidance, encouragement and support
- Thorough knowledge of project management, which includes the ability to estimate, define, organize resources, roles and actions
- Thorough knowledge of agile application development methodology
- Passion for high quality code, design and application
- Good judgment in identifying issues and recommending solutions to others
- Experience working with distributed teams across geography
- Strong understanding of infrastructure requirement
- Experienced in software performance management
- Knowledge of systems (e.g., various programming languages, database management, system architectures, relational database, document database, un/structured design approaches, etc.)
- Experience developing SOAP, REST, JSON services
- Technical experience with a large ecommerce organization is a plus
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to various levels of technical and non-technical management
- Bachelors degree required; Masters of Science strongly preferred
