JOB DESCRIPTION  
Our client is looking for"Development SQL DBA Consultant "

 

Required Experience:
BCC has 3 separate SQL 2005 clusters.. Want to consolidate to a single 2008 - it is built in VM Ware in a SAN
The Datatel ERP uses Unidata, they want to move it to SQL 2008
They want to do Data Mining using SSRS
Asked alot about experience in the following areas
Building Clusters
Tuning, what is it, why do it, how to do it etc.
Maintenance
Restores, how to do them, why to do them
Mirroring.. Why do it, what do you expect etc
SSRS Packages
Log Shipping
What happens when backup is failing
