Position:  JAVA, C/C++ Developer

Details:

 

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with a minimum of three years experience. Competency in one or more of the following programming languages: JAVA, C/C++, .NET framework, ProgreSQL, Apache or other programming languages as appropriate. Professional competency in Linux and Windows OS is required.  

 

Must be familiar with MJPEG, MPEG4, H.264 and RTP/RTSP.

Must have knowledge of C/C++, .NET and java for Windows platform and C/C++ and java for the Linux platform is a plus.

 

ADDITIONAL INFO: seeking a candidate with skills in the area of video and audio programming on the Windows platform. Development  knowledge on the Linux OS platform is a plus. Knowledge and experience must include the ability to design and code applications and or libraries to perform multi-camera video capture, video image and text overlay merging from external metadata files, multi-channel audio recording and mixing of recorded audio and video for playback.  Must have an excellent understanding of media streaming and/or broadcast servers.

 

Candidate will be responsible for design, analysis and development of new systems, algorithms, methodologies and software applications as required by projects, as well as  updates and modification of existing code to accommodate changes in business logic and requirements.
