This is pertaining multiple JAVA positions with my client based at Dallas,
TX.

Position            :  Java consultant  
No of positions   :  5 
Start date          :  ASAP
Location            :  Dallas, TX   
6 + months contract 
Target Rate : Not exceeding $33-36/ hr, all incl on corp-corp.
 
Responsibilities & Duties:
•         Under general direction, develops, codes, tests and debugs new
complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a
maintenance capacity.
•         Has excellent understanding of business application.
•         Works with technical staff to understand problems with software
and resolve them.
•         Resolves customer issues with software and responds to suggestions
for improvements and enhancements.
•         May assist in development of software technical documentation.
•         Demonstrates software.
•         Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions.
•         Designs and codes complex applications using advanced technology.
•         May create optimization programs to resolve problems.
•         May design and build prototype applications. 
 
Education:
          B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree preferred 
 
Experience:
          At least 6 to 10 years in software development

Technical skills  ( MUST) :
•         Experience in Java programming including garbage collection and
memory management
•         JUnit/ Unit Testing
•         Intermediate experience with Oracle
•         Good OOP/OOA skills
•         XML technologies
Additionally, experience in the following would be a plus: 
 
•         Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Simple Design 
          Experience in C++ programming with STL 
•         Intermediate knowledge of Linux
•         ServiceMix, Camel
•         SVN
•         Maven2
•         OSGI
•         MQ
•         Service Oriented Programming (SOP)
•         Agile Development
•         Ability to build and deploy enterprise-class, scalable solutions
•         Test Driven Development
